Belaya Dacha Trading recognized as industry leader after SQMS evaluation

On April 22 and 23, 2008 "Belaya Dacha Trading" production facility was tested for quality and safety based on McDonald's SQMS questionnaires (suppliers quality management system) by SGS – an international auditing company. McDonald's annually audit their suppliers, but it is the first time for such a high standard to be applied in Russia.

According to the results of audit “Belaya Dacha Trading” has received 97 of 100 points possible, thus obtaining the highest category A, which means that the quality management system and security measures correspond to the highest international requirements and standards (note, that category B (85-95 points) is considered to be a very good result). The company proved compliant with category A standards is regarded as industry leader. "Belaya Dacha Trading" constantly evolves and keeps on setting new higher standards on the market.

In the span of the last year we’ve gone beyond merely ensuring quality and safety of our products, we also started the Quality Management System. This system involves procedures for all processes; it sets policy in the field of quality, leadership guidance in matters of quality and product safety, etc. All of us worked as a team to achieve the highest result, because overall score in Quality Management System depends on personal result of each employee".

"Belaya Dacha Trading" is a member of "Belaya Dacha" group. The company is a leader in production of fresh-cut salads, vegetables and fruit. It has been the exclusive supplier of vegetables for McDonalds restaurants in Russia and Belarus since 1994.

Background: "Belaya Dacha Trading" was founded in 1994. Growing demands of market and expanding production caused the factory to change its location three times. Brand new factory was launched in September 2006 products equipped with the latest technology and specially designed under the specifics of production. The factory area of 6000 sq. m. located in the Moscow region, city of Kotelniki in the territory belonging to Group companies "Belaya Dacha".

The new factory is fully equipped with modern equipment, which runs under ERP system Microsoft Axapta. All financial statements of "Trading Belaya Dacha" are conducted in accordance with international standards.
